Wednesday 9th November 2011- pm - Maths GCSE Paper 1 (non-calculator) - Year 11 students Monday 14th November 2011 - am - Maths GCSE Paper 2 (calculator) - Year 11 students
JANUARY 2012 EXAM SEASON
Exams start on Tuesday 10th January 2012 and end on Thursday 2nd February 2012 - this exam season will involve years 10, 11, 12 & 13. Students will receive their exam timetables in November 2011.
SUMMER 2012 EXAM SEASON
Exams start on Monday 14th May 2012 and end for A level on Tuesday 26th June 2012 and for GCSE on Wednesday 27th June 2012. Students will receive their exam timetables in April 2012. PLEASE NOTE: there is a week's holiday during these exams; week commencing Monday 4th June 2012.
KS3 Tests:
Soon after joining the academy, children in Year 7 complete Cognitive Ability Tests. We use Key Stage 2 SAT and our own CATs results to help us:
- Organise teaching groups
- Set appropriate targets
- Monitor and support students' progress
GCSE & GNVQ Results:
All Streetly Academy students following courses which lead to external certification will normally be entered for the appropriate examinations.
National statistics indicate that we are very good at ensuring that all of our students enjoy some success at GCSE.
A/AS at GCE & VCE:
Students are able to mix and match the AS and A2 courses at GCE with AS and A2 courses at VCE or a Student Apprenticeship.
