At different times all students need some individual support. This may come from their subject teachers or form tutor. We do, however, also have a range of specialist support to meet the specific needs of our gifted and talented students.

The Gifted and Talented programme ensures that our most able students are stretched. We identify our gifted and talented students and maintain both central and departmental registers of these students.

Gifted and talented students are extended in lessons and receive additional enrichment opportunities outside of lessons, such as Gifted and Talented Linguists day and workshops with local artists. We have been successful in nominating several students into the prestigious National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth (NAGTY). We have also developed a successful mentoring programme (JAE) to help support our most able students.
