Attendance:

26 students were rewarded for 100% attendance in 2006-2007.

Environment:

Anti-bullying, race-equality and child protection policies are in place at the Streetly School. We believe every student has the right to enjoy his/her learning, and leisure, free from 'bullying', and we will not tolerate behaviour that causes distress to any member of our school community.

The school operates state of the art security alarm and CCTV systems. The security risk assessment is reviewed every year and improvements to buildings and perimeter fencing incorporated. Close contact is maintained with the local police force and the LEA and any incidents are recorded for future reference.

A qualified first aider operates from a fully equipped medical room. There are close links between the school and the health services.

House and Year:

There are nine forms in each year. These are divided into three Houses named after stars in the Pleiades cluster.

Form Tutors:
- Monitor students' academic and social progress
- Support students' learning
- Provide pastoral care
- Demand of all students a sense of responsibility and an awareness of others
- Form tutors also encourage students to take part in a wide variety of House activities.

Where these are competitive, points are awarded and, at the end of each year, the most successful House receives the Andrew Cook Memorial Trophy.

Codes of Conduct:

Everyone should behave, both in and out of school, in a manner which is respectful and considerate of other people and property. We should aim to bring credit upon ourselves and our school.

Remember, the rooms used for lessons are places of work.

Be aware of the need for a working atmosphere in the school.

Always try to set yourself targets which will give you a sense of achievement and impress others.
