Sixth Form
There are currently 203 students studying in the Sixth Form. The school has invested in providing the most up-to-date study facilities. The Streetly School Sixth Form is increasingly the first choice for our students.
We offer a full range of AS and A2 courses, and some Level 2 vocational courses, and the opportunity for some students to be involved in Student Apprenticeships.
The Sixth Form curriculum is extended by a range of optional activities, including British Sign Language and the Community Sports Leader Award. Our Sixth Formers also play an active part in the life of the school.
Sixth Form students work with younger students in a range of activities including sports, paired reading and mentoring.
Ofsted 2007 commented, "Sixth Form students enjoy a wide range of opportunities to take responsibility and take pride in their contribution to the school community"
The Sixth Form attracts students from other schools and all students considering staying on or joining us are offered an interview, with their parents, at the school. For those considering entering our Sixth Form in September 2008 there will be a Sixth Form Choices Evening on 29th January 2008. Enquiries from adults interested in returning to learning are also welcome.
