There are currently 1353 students on roll, including 186 in the Sixth Form. The school's published admission number is 243.

Listening:

Young people are the reason for the Partnership for Success. It is important that they are given a voice. The Streetly School has a tradition of listening to students.

Students are represented by elected school councillors in House, Year and School Councils and on a Student Sports Council.

All participate in surveys of student opinion. Some become members of single issue student focus groups.
