At Key Stage 4...
Edexcel Double Award GCSE
The course is split into three units:
Unit 1 – Investigating Leisure and Tourism (Exam)
Unit 2 – Customer Service (Portfolio)
Unit 3 – Marketing (Portfolio)
At Key Stage 5...
Year 12 – OCR National Diploma in Travel and Tourism (Level 2)
The course is split into six units, completed in one year. All units are assessed by portfolio, there are no exams in this course.
Unit 1 – Exploring Travel and Tourism
Unit 2 – Dealing with Customers in Travel and Tourism
Unit 3 – Investigating Tourist Destinations
Unit 4 – Promoting Travel and Tourism
Unit 3 – Investigating Visitor Attractions
Unit 2 – Investigating Airports and Airlines
Year 12 and 13 – A Level Travel and Tourism (Level 3)
Three Units in AS Level:
- Investigating Travel and Tourism
- Customer Service in Travel and Tourism
- Destination Britain
Three Units in A2 Level:
- Responsible Tourism
- Current Issues in Travel and Tourism
- One optional unit
