Welcome to The Streetly Academy, an 11 - 18 Sports College in the heart of the community.

In 2011, The Streetly Academy achieved outstanding results, breaking all historical records with 68% of our students achieving 5 A*-C including Maths and English. Perhaps more impressive was the fact that almost half of our students achieved 3 or more A or A* grades, and a third achieved 5 or more A or A* grades. These statistics placed the school in the top 8% of schools nationally on the 5 A*-C including Maths and English measure, as well as their capped average points score (Fischer Family Trust Report 2011). This meant that our students made significantly better progress than similar students nationally.

There are 2 things that drive us at The Streetly Academy, Values and Achievement. We have adopted the Olympic Values that sit at the very centre of everything we do. Personal Excellence, Respect and Friendship, Inspiration, Determination and Courage, and Equality (PRIDE) are values that are universally shared, and help our students maximise their achievement.

Not only are we proud of our results, we are equally proud of our well-mannered, helpful, and well-presented students. We believe in developing the all-round individual, who takes ownership of their behaviour, learning, and achievement. We have an extensive Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme, Sports Leaders programmes and a highly effective School Council whose views are sought on everything from senior staff appointments to improvements in teaching and learning. Via our pupil engagement strategy, Project Streetly, we successful enable our students to lead and take responsibility on a wide variety of issues, from learning spaces to gardens, e-learning to the environment.

Our attractive site boasts superb facilities, particularly in the area of our sports specialism, with a full-size synthetic turf pitch, 4 court sports hall, gym and fitness area, dance studio, and swimming pool.

We are particularly proud of the contribution our Sixth Form Students make to the life of the school. Our recent Ofsted inspection praised the commitment of Sixth Form students to the school community.
