Parents are asked to:

• Take an interest in their child's work, discussing it with them when appropriate
• Encourage and support their child in the completion of homework, checking their student planner at least weekly
• Attend Parents evenings and Parent Information evenings
• Support awards evenings and other events, even if their own child is not directly involved
• Contact Academy if there are concerns or problems. (The first point of contact is usually the form tutor)
• Ensure that their child attends the Academy on all possible occasions and that they are punctual
• Assist the Academy in maintaining standards of behaviour and uniform
